Successful Exclusive FAM Trip to Jerash

February 10th JITOA members participated in an exclusive FAM Trip to Jerash, organized with the valued contribution of the Crown Prince Foundation.
This special visit highlighted the remarkable outcomes of the Foundation’s pilot micro-support fund and capacity-building project, which empowers micro-enterprises and startups that enhance tourism and support local businesses in Jerash. Through close engagement with the local community, a collection of unique, authentic, and inspiring tourism experiences has been successfully established and upgraded.
During the visit, our members explored more than 15 thoughtfully developed, market-ready experiences, including:
- Beekeeping experiences
- Coffee-preparation experience
- Local food and culinary experiences
- Soap-making experience
- Herbs and natural products experiences
- VR and interactive experience
- Community-based cultural activities
…and much more.
The day was rich, interactive, and inspiring, offering valuable opportunities to integrate these authentic community-based experiences into future tour programs.
