Tourism Businesses Share Feedback in JITOA’s Second E-Invoicing Session. Second Electronic Billing Training
Published : 13-11-2023
On November 13, the Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association (JITOA), in cooperation with the Income and Sales Tax Department, held the second session under the patronage of Dr. Waleed Bawaaneh, Assistant Director General of the Tax Department / Head of the Service Sector Committee for E-Invoicing Affairs.
This follow-up session came nearly five months after the official rollout of the E-Invoicing system on May 1. It provided JITOA members with the opportunity to share their feedback based on real-world use of the system, discuss the challenges they encountered, and raise practical concerns directly with the Department’s representatives.
The open discussion addressed various operational obstacles and aimed to identify solutions that could improve the system’s efficiency and ease of use for tourism businesses. The session reaffirmed the importance of continuous dialogue between the private sector and government bodies to ensure smooth adoption of new regulations and digital tools.
