The Holy Land Institute for the Deaf (HLID) in Salt, Jordan, is a Christian and Church-affiliated foundation that extends a helping hand to deaf and deafblind children in Jordan and the Middle East, regardless of their social, religious, political or economic backgrounds.
The Holy Land Institute for the Deaf seeks to enable deaf, hard-of-hearing and deafblind children, as well as people with other sensory and physical disabilities, for inclusion and participation in their families and communities in a meaningful way, and to make their valuable contribution to civic society – in the Middle East.
