With the support of the GIZ Employment Oriented MSME project, and with more than 65 tourism professionals in attendance, representing tour operators ,hoteliers and owners of small businesses, we were able to deliver a very dynamic training under the name “Selecting Online Travel Agents (OTAs) and Selling Experiences Online"

The Development and Promotion of Mediterranean Sustainable Adventure Tourism Project (MEDUSA), a project funded by the EU through the ENI CBCMED Program, in cooperation with the GIZ-funded Employment-oriented MSME Promotion Project kicked off today a training activity on Sustainable Tourism Destination Management targeting public sector stakeholders, private sector and sector NGOs, with focus on adventure tourism.

This training aims at:

- Introducing key concepts in sustainable tourism destination management and key parameters essential for successful destination planning.

- Promote cross-agency collaboration and exchange of experiences through multi stakeholder engagement, and encourage dialogue between the various stakeholders, including local service providers, public authorities, tourism professionals and SMEs.
