As part of the continuous collaboration between n the Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association – JITOA and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, JITOA organized an interactive dialogue session for its members with H.E. Mrs. Lina Annab, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities at the Grand Hyatt Amman Hotel.
Ms. Ghada Iskandar Najjar, Chairwoman of JITOA, who gave a warm welcome at the beginning of the session, briefed on the challenges that face the inbound tourism sector due to the current situation and the ongoing war in Gaza.
The event was attended by Dr. Fadi Balawi, Secretary General of the Ministry; Dr. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board; and several ministry officials.
This session was complemented by a presentation on the status of inbound tourism over the past years, compared to the current situation, in consideration of regional challenges.
In the end, during the Q&A session with H.E. Mrs. Lina Annab, participants were able to raise their questions and express her commitment to treating proposed solutions for the challenges presented to the inbound tourism sector.
