In a recent meeting held at the Grand Hyatt Amman Hotel, Jitoa, in partnership with the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), the Jordan Heritage Revival Company (JHRC), and Royal Jordanian (RJ), organized a power breakfast for inbound tourism companies and international hotel chains. The primary objective was to discuss this year’s tourism activities in the Kingdom, particularly in light of the challenges posed by the conflict in Gaza. The meeting was a valuable platform for stakeholders to connect, express their concerns, and explore strategies to revitalize tourism. Discussions revolved around JTB’s initiatives to gather insights for tourism recovery, highlighting a positive trend of increased travelers to Jordan. JTB’s research department underscored the Kingdom’s focus on new markets such as Russia, India, and China, prompting Royal Jordanian to consider new flight routes. Additionally, JHRC’s Director-General introduced innovative marketing approaches for tourism experiences in the country, including the latest ‘Roman Aqueduct Experience’ in Umm Qais. Despite the hurdles posed by regional challenges, the Kingdom remains steadfast in its commitment to showcasing its achievements and future opportunities in the global tourism landscape.
