Earlier today, JITOA presented HE Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Mrs. Majd Shweikeh with an appreciation plaque; honoring her efforts in boosting Jordan’s tourism sector throughout 2019, and solidifying Jordan’s position on the world tourism map.

Over the weekend, our tour operators members enjoyed a FAM trip to learn more about RumSky رم سكاي and Henna Fantasia, unique experiences that enrich the tourists’ itineraries while in Jordan! Today morning witnessed the signing of an MOU between JITOA and CAFRAJ – French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Jordan, focusing on collaboration and and cooperation for both associations’ members. HE Mr. Akel Biltaji, Chairman of CAFRAJ, signed alongside Mr. Awni Kawar, JITOA Chairman, and was witnessed by HE Mrs. Veronique Vouland-Aneini, French Ambassador

Building on our partnership and support received through الإدارة الملكية لحماية البيئة/Rangers for همة ولمة Himmeh w Lammeh, today witnessed the signing of the official MOU between JITOA and the Rangers, with the aim to collaborate and connect closer on issues related to the environment and eco-tourism.

Together as partners, JITOA & Wild Jordan are in Tunisia attending the kickoff meeting of the Development and Promotion of Mediterranean Sustainable Adventure Tourism Project (MEDUSA) which is funded by ENICBCMED – Cooperating Across Boarders in the Mediterranean. More exciting news to follow in the months ahead!
