Throughout the past year, we have actively advocated for the tourism industry’s interests and addressed its challenges through various initiatives and collaborations. This included conducting over 20 meetings with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (MOTA) to advocate for industry-related issues, collaborate on initiatives, and initiate discussions to address challenges faced by inbound tour operators. Additionally, we participated in meetings with the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) to enhance tourism promotion strategies and address sector challenges. We also actively contributed to discussions related to the new tourism law in meetings with Officials, Senators, and representatives in the Upper House of Parliament, ensuring the tourism industry’s concerns were effectively communicated. Furthermore, we collaborated with the Ministry of Tourism and the French Institute on initiatives to enhance French language proficiency among tourism industry employees and guides to improve communication and service quality for French-speaking visitors.
