The Development and Promotion of Mediterranean Sustainable Adventure Tourism Project (MEDUSA), a project funded by the EU through the ENI CBCMED Program, in cooperation with the GIZ-funded Employment-oriented MSME Promotion Project kicked off today a training activity on Sustainable Tourism Destination Management targeting public sector stakeholders, private sector and sector NGOs, with focus on adventure tourism.
This training aims at:
– Introducing key concepts in sustainable tourism destination management and key parameters essential for successful destination planning.
– Promote cross-agency collaboration and exchange of experiences through multi stakeholder engagement, and encourage dialogue between the various stakeholders, including local service providers, public authorities, tourism professionals and SMEs.
